The Ghostbusters '16 Defense Force In Full Mobilization

So not too long ago about a few weeks ago the man behind the Angry Video Game Nerd, James Rolf put out a video on why he isn't going to see and review the up coming Ghostbusters (hence referred to as Ghostbusters '16) and people lost their shit. The GB '16 DF came out in full force with the likes of Patton Oswald and Dane Cook within the ranks leading the charge.

The complaints about Rolf's video which you can see here,
wholly compromise of your predictable "huuurrrr muh-saw-ginny!" that you can come to expect from the regressive left. If you view the criticisms against him, hardly any of them had anything to do with the points he had made in the video and why he has no interest in giving the film his money.

I could compile a list of the butthurt driven complaints here, but others have already done it and I don't feel like becoming dumber though osmosis by slogging though all their collective bullshit whining. So I'll just link this video here which does a great job of showing the kind of heat Rolf has been getting from this fragile special snowflakes.
The responses honestly was very predictable given that the people decrying the video are the same feelings driven people who never learned how to think. They never learned how to take down an opposing viewpoint and create a counter argument addressing each of those points. These are the same people that think they're special and that is enough to validate their feelings as something to consider.

Rather than address each of Rolf's points they simply just lashed out with their feels as if their feelings were the toilet paper it was wiped on. Though Patton Oswald is a slightly different case. Unlike your typical mindless Social Justice Jihadist, Oswald has something of a vested personal interest in Ghostbusters '16. Apparently his late wife has a small role in the movie, so naturally he'd want the movie to do well at the box office, so her last legacy wouldn't be a bomb.

But did he do the right thing? No. Apparently tubbo didn't realize that we're not on a Comedy Central Roast, so personally attacking Rolf wasn't the correct way to go about things. He had enough of his wits about him to turn around and say that he targeted the wrong person, but still couldn't apologize. He should just go back to what he does best, getting ripped on by Lisa Lampanelli and Betty White.

And then there's Dane Cook. How the hell this guy is considered a comedian, I'll never know. I remember his Comedy Central appearances back in the day and he's just loud. He's like the Bam Margera of stand-up, fame built less upon talent and more upon just making a scene. Honestly now, what kind of weight do the words of a loud mouth carry? How much should they carry? I'll answer that, none.

But why does this even matter, who the hell cares? Well it's a reflection of one or two things in our society, maybe both. First, that too many people become too emotionally invested in a particular thing. Here it seems that thing is regressive leftist ideology. Being so emotionally invested, they take the slightest voice that doesn't toe the ideological line as a personal attack. Not simply an attack on the thing that they have attached themselves to, but an attack to their very person.

We're at this point because of an over empahsis on feeling, over thinking. What Rolf said in his video went against their feelings. And all it took was some voice to give direction to the butthurt and say one of the favorite words of the Social Justice Jihadists "misogyny" and off the feeldroids go.

The second thing we see is that social media has the power to give anyone a voice. Sound good at first right...? But then consider that this means that any moron and idiot is now given a voice. Why is that a problem though, doesn't everyone have the right to say what they want regardless of how moronic? They sure do. But this becomes a problem when the audience doesn't know how to think. That's how demagogues are born. Then with people running on full feelings, it makes it easier for crooked and/or lazy politicians to take advantage and stay in power. All the problems we hear about today? It's from people acting solely on feels and politicians taking advantage of that.

What happened here is just a snapshot of the rot that's seeping in society. The stench to the shit that sitting on the middle of the floor so to speak. Taken by itself this is no real big deal. But when you factor in the insanity going on at college campuses, the crybully tactics used by 3rd wave feminists and the utter mockery of the Civil Rights movement propelled by figures like MLK Jr. and Malcolm X being performed by Black Lives Matter, we can see just how far the rot has seeped. It's seeped so far in that the most minor thing becomes a topic of outrage.
